I feel like we hit the jackpot with Absinthe. They came to the site of the party (which was in the northwest suburbs, while they live in the southern suburbs) and set everything up the evening before the gig. I was happy to see them take the party as seriously as we did! The party was for over 100 adults with disabilities, and they were such a hit...and thankfully super patient with a few over-enthusiastic party-goers. I can't say enough good things about this group of people - the music was lively and fun, the lights brought fun to the stage, and they enjoyed themselves almost as much, I think, as the party-goers. Highly recommend this bunch.

The band was excellent at communicating. They were great from start to finish, and they were so professional! The volume was perfect and people loved them at our event. They even dressed up in 80's clothes for our 80's themed party. It was such a nice detail and people really took notice. Chuck was our main point of contact and I have nothing but great things to say about him. They did a fantastic job and are so talented! Thank you!

I can't put into words how awesome Absinthe_TheBand was! They were beyond helpful, accommodating, professional and last but not least- talented!! I loved their set list and they rocked it! Everyone had a blast and I couldn't be more than happy with them. I plan on going to their future events to see them play again, they were that good! An amazing time was had by all! It's nerve wrecking hiring a band you've never seen before but I'm so glad I did! Can't say enough good things about them! Hire them! You won't be disappointed!

A great band! Played a great variety and was able to sing those great songs that require a female singer. It was great hearing Madonna and Blondie! Very professional and even dressed up with their great '80s hair. They also had a great mix of songs that everyone can enjoy and sing along with.

They were great, and we would hire them again no problem. A group of very talented and professional musicians! They came at a great price, well worth every penny. We even paid them extra to stay longer because all of our party guests enjoyed them so much.

I have heard a lot of bands in that price range. None of them where a good as Absynthe_TheBand. The only reason I gave them a 4.5 instead of a 5 in overall talent is because they are not the Eagles. My advice for someone looking to hire a good band for their event; hire them now while you can still get them at a bargain rate. This band will be joining the ranks of higher paid bands in the very near future. My expectations for this band where high when my wife and I watched the demo, but that demo didn't do them justice. They went way beyond our expectations. One of my party attendees enjoyed their performance so much he tipped them 50 bucks! In a word; Fantastic!!!
