If you actually want people to dance and tell you months after your wedding about how fun your band was, then hire Chain Reaction! My dream as a little girl was to have a Motown band to play at my wedding because I love to dance! This 8-piece band EXCEEDED my dream! All of my guests from across the country were dancing, as if they all knew each other! CR had so many songs to choose from and even added one per my request. The vocalists, Robert Dudley and Felice blew everyone way! Jim Frengel, the saxist and manager was incredible as a musician and with communication and collaboration. I’m going plan an event just to hire Chain Reaction again because they’re THAT good!

Chain Reaction was absolutely incredible! We plan on hiring them to perform at all of our future parties for our clients. We had about 170 attendees and everyone was blown away by how great they were. Each band member was so talented and they did a perfect mix of genres and eras of music. They had everyone dancing the whole night. We definitely recommend them to any and everyone!

Chain Reaction was awesome! They played a fundraiser for 300 people and were exactly what we wanted & needed. They played music to fit the mood, and had people dancing long past when we planned on being done! Professional, on time and amazing talent!

I hired Chain Reaction to perform at my Husbands Birthday/Retirement party as a last minute add on to what I thought was an already well thought out planned entertaining event and man oh man am I GLAD I did!! They took my party to a whole new level. They did an outstanding job. Jim put together the exact sound I was looking for and on such short notice I could not have asked for more. My guest were amazed at their performance and are still talking about their experience 3 weeks later. I am already planning my next event with Chain Reaction as my motivation. Chain reaction and Jim Frengel were the best dance band ever! All of our guests were up and dancing all night at my sons wedding and had a fantastic time. Jim and his team delivered high energy performance from beginning to end of our wedding reception. Their professionalism, appropriate attire, and ability to adapt to change brought class and elegance to our event. My sister sang with the band and she enjoyed them immensely. Their song selections were a good balance of the standards and top 40 music for the youngsters. We will definitely hire this band for future events!

Having Chain Reaction on our wedding reception playing, they were just unbelievable awesome! It was a black tie event and the audience went crazy about their music, their empathy for the situation, playing the right song at the right time. The singers have both awesome voices and the musicians were fabulous. My brother, who is also a jazz musician, sang a song with them and just loved it. Great appearance, great professionalism, great repertoire of songs, great talents! 4 hours big time fun for the whole wedding party, dancing until the very last second; thats what we call an outstanding band and entertainers! Chain Reaction was amazing--I couldn't be happier with their performance and with working with them. Neither could the audience! All throughout the night people were asking me about the band, telling me how good they were. I guess even the security guard, sitting in his car, was having a great time because the band was so good.
They made a great night even better. I was interested in some of the older funk and Motown tunes, and they performed them brilliantly. The singer is great, as is everyone in the band.
I couldn't have been happier dancing around to my favorite songs like Love Train and Circles!
You'll be glad you hired them. I most certainly am!

This band... was amazing.
I was a little hesitant about booking through a website without an personal references, but I am SO glad I came across Chain Reaction. From the beginning to the end, Jim Frengel helped accomodate all our needs for our Jan 18, 2014 wedding at the Summit House. The vocals were AMAZING - and Ralph got the crowd going by singing and dancing with the rest of us!
My husband and I can not stop raving about this band... they were so professional, full of energy, and definitely one of the highlights of our wedding. Thank you Chain Reaction! You guys were such a blast and a pleasure to work with!

We could not have been more happy with Chain Reaction's performance and professionalism. They are really, really, really good! I knew that I wanted soul/R&B/Motown to accommodate the wide range of ages for our wedding guests. Chain Reaction was absolutely perfect and so very talented! We have several friends and family who "know music" (including my own brothers who are DJs) and wouldn't BS us if the band wasn't up to par. Several people went out of their way to tell us how fantastic our band was! Our dance floor was absolutely packed from beginning to end with just about every one of our guests cuttin' a rug at some point. Thanks for such a great performance!

I can't possibly sing higher praises for Chain Reaction!! I hired them as my wedding band, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Jim is extremely efficient and accommodating as the band manager. He made the whole process easy. What's more....they were less expensive (by quite a bit actually) than any other comparable band we sent inquiries to! We paid a little extra to add the female singer (to have both male and female singers), but she is WORTH IT! She has an amazing soulful voice that captivates everyone in the room. But above all, Chain Reaction is FUN! The male singer has this unbelievable energy that makes you want to get up and dance. HIRE THEM!

Chain Reactor delivered above and beyond our already high expectations (based on the reviews we read). The band’s timing, musical style and ability to read the crowd was literally perfect. On top of that, Jim (their manager) was very professional and pleasant to work with - he really cares about what you. The music at a wedding is probably the most important aspect to guests and hiring a great band will keep them talking about your wedding long after it’s over. I would recommend Chain Reactor to anyone who can appreciate quality music and I’m looking forward to the next I will have the opportunity to hire them.

We were blown away by the talent and professionalism of Chain Reaction. Very nice people with a genuine desire to please their audience. First time I watched them play was at a friend's wedding reception and they were great! Had them play at my parent's 50th wedding anniversary party and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Very accomodating, sounded great, interacted with the audience. Everyone was dancing and had a great time from my little cousins to my parents. Everyone kept asking how I found such a great band. Look forward to the time they can play for us again!!!

For our wedding day we wanted a special touch to ensure the reception delighted our guests. Chain Reaction were that special touch.
Being a former musician, and my fiance being a music teacher, we were very picky about getting a technically good band with the right blend of musical talent and professionalism. I cannot speak highly enough about Chain Reaction, how accommodating they were with our frequent changes (as is the case in wedding planning!) and simply the quality of their music.
We would not hesitate to recommend Chain Reaction and hope to book them again in the future.
