Michael Cavanaugh has made a name for himself as one of the hottest artists to perform at private events and charity events. Michael was hand-picked by Billy Joel to star in the Broadway musical Movin' Out and frequently clients want us to do a lot of Billy Joel but others want a much bigger mix of music and that is why Billboard called Michael the "New Voice of the American Rock and Roll Songbook". He was also awarded the Reuters Private Entertainer of the Year Award. His vast song portfolio allows him to cater to the crowd, and each show is customized to the audience. He doesn't have a set list because an audience is dynamic and he is a master at reading a crowd. In smaller settings, he will even take request from the crowd and let that drive the set list for the night. In the last year we've had nights where the setlist was as varied as mostly 80's hair band rock, 50's and 60's hits, nights of mostly Billy Joel, and recently played to an audience who wanted a majority of the set list to be more current tunes (Blink 182, Maroon 5, Jimmy Eat World, Train, etc.) and we delivered! We have played private events for as little as 10 people for a board meeting or in someone's house, and as large as 30,000 for large service organizations and companies and everything in between.
