Moonstones band consist of a husband and wife duo and represent a wide variety of both musical style, experience, and versatility. Moonstone has performed either individually or collectively in other bands and venues that include festivals, biker rallies, clubs, conferences, churches, private parties, coffee shops, restaurants. Musical education for “Moonstones” band members was completed in each of their backgrounds. Included in “Moonstones” background is a history of songwriting which led to studio time recording originals. Guitarist and Bass player Bill Merchant spent his early years in a 60’s band called “The Classics” that opened for many groups such as Marilee Rush, The Knickerbockers, The Sonics, and Paul Revere and the Raiders. Denise Merchant plays both keyboard, acoustic guitar and vocals. To complete their particular style, they blend strong vocal duets, with exceptional harmonies. With the use of background tracks to add the full band sound, in addition to their own live instruments, and vocals, Moonstone will provide a performance to meet your expectations.
