News From Bree is an acoustic trio made up of seasoned musicians long active in the South Florida music scene, performing and recording with artists including The Helmsmen, Cardinal Moses, Jahzilla, and Jupiter Jazz Collective. With three-part vocal harmonies, bass and foot percussion, flute, and a wide range of popular rock, pop, and folk songs, old and new, News From Bree is not your average "acoustic group." Be prepared to dance and sing along during our high-energy performance and to laugh with our appropriate sense of humor and antics. We will play (and have experience playing) almost any type of event, from weddings to private parties to bar mitzvahs, etc. We can learn specific songs at your request with advance notice, and we will comply with the required dress code for each event. Each song we add to the set is selected for its popularity and/or the energy it adds to the performance. We dedicate rehearsal time to making each song sound as full and fun as possible down to the details of each instrument's part. Audience members have consistently praised the variety in our setlist; we do our best to make sure everyone gets to hear something they like.
