The Get Down Committee came to GET DOWN!! This cover band specializes in playing party music that gets the people moving. This is not your typical classic rock cover band. The GDC focuses on Funk, Soul, Motown, Dance and Top 40 music. Whatever it is, it's gotta make the people dance!
The GDC is new to Gigmasters, but has been working the New Jersey club and private event scene for a few years now. In addition to weddings, backyard parties, festivals, and corporate events, the GDC has headlined at numerous high profile bars all over NJ. Just to name a few: Donovan's Reef, Bar Anticipation, Porta Asbury Park, Salty Whale, River Rock, Blu Grotto, Wharfside Patio Bar, Baker's Water Street, River Rock, Reef & Barrel, Joe's Surf Shack, Shipwreck Grill, and Saly G's!
This band is available in multiple configurations to suit the size and budget for for you wedding, party, club, or private event. Anywhere from a power trio to a 9 piece band with horns, keys, percussion and any configuration in between!
