The MOD 60's Cover Band from Charlotte, NC

THE MOD 60s is a family friendly Charlotte based 60's-70's cover and ORIGINALS band. We play cover songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Bee Gees, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, Tom Petty, The Doobie Bros, Adele, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Roy Orbison, Procol Harum, Warren Zevon, Van Morrison, The Searchers, The Ventures, CCR, Johnny Cash, Willie & Waylon, John Denver, and more. Our originals are timely topics such as "Pandemic," and "Ghost Flight," a song about the 9/11 flight. We recorded 6 originals & 4 covers last winter at Stonelayer Studios in Fort Mill, S.C., David Robinson, Engineer. May through October 2021 we played 29 gigs in Charlotte Metro, Asheville Metro, Spruce Pine, and Mocksville. NOTABLES: including the Vietnam Veteran's Helicopter Pilot's Assoc. at Uptown Charlotte Westin for 600+ Veterans & their families. Also, a hugely successful Woodstock/Hippie Dress up event in Fort Mill, S.C. for 140 people that were completely engaged in the spirit. We play regularly, more than once at Poplar Tapas Charlotte; The Auto Pour Charlotte; The Thirsty Dog Belmont; Rose Hill Country Plantation Aiken, S.C.; The Treehouse Vineyards Monroe and Harmanco's, Albemarle NC. Our goal is to lift our audience up, deliver joy, nostalgia, escape, dancing & play each song with heart. We are very competitive on compensation, rarely the highest bidder. We are serious & devoted to producing some of the area's best classic rock music from 60's British bands to include Beatles, Rollings Stones, Cream, Jerry and The Pacemakers, Searchers, Kinks and many others. 60's, 70's, & 80's music to include Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Eagles, CCR, Box Tops, Wilson Pickett, Adel many others. We are a 5-piece band with all necessary equipment needed to gig. Our band members are highly experienced musicians. We provide DJ music during our break periods.
