This band was absoutely fantastic. I booked them for my wedding reception, and people are still raving about how great they were. I would definitely book them again, and I couldn't have been happier with their performance.

Jimmy was a wonderful musician to work with for our wedding reception! As a bride doing all planning myself, I had several questions and requests for Jimmy during the time we were considering the band and after we booked. He was extremely accommodating and communicative. The band even had to switch their stage placement the night of due to weather, and I really appreciated the way they handled it. They were a hit at the reception and I was so pleased with their performance! We received a ton of compliments and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!

Jimmy Allen and the band did a truly phenomenal job of making sure everyone had a good time at our wedding. From starting with smooth jazz and MCing our reception to learning a song for our first dance and jamming out to keep everyone on the dance floor all evening, Jimmy did a wonderful job. We were especially happy with having the horns included at a good price point, and we would happily recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for a motown band with good instrumentation and a good sound that is willing to work with you to make your event perfect.

I cannot praise Jimmy Allen and the Reminder Band enough; I have now booked them twice and would book them again in a heartbeat. They are talented, enthusiastic, and so easy to work with. I booked them for my sorority function and everybody spent the whole night dancing. Jimmy Allen and the Reminder Band are an excellent choice for a Motown style band--high talent at a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun time!!

Amazing, talented, gracious, and professional!We could not have asked for a more perfect band for our daughter's wedding reception.Took a chance and hired them based on the videos on the website-what a stroke of luck.People danced and had a great time.The band was interactive with the guests and truly looked happy to be there.Wide variety of songs that appealed to everyone-a wealth of talent.I would not even hesitate to recommend them or use them again.Mr. Jimmy was always immediately responsive to any email I sent him.I wish them every continued success and I feel blessed to have met them.

I missed their performance but my guests raved about the band. When we arrived the band leader was very professional and introduced himself and congratulated us. There was something very gently and personable about his demeanor. Often times you have vendors that perform so much, they forget the importance of being kind. Thank you so much to Jimmy and the band, you guys were great.

From my first contact with Jimmy Allen and the Reminder Band, it was a positive experience! My daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception was so much fun thanks to the great music! The band made everyone feel like dancing! Fabulous band that helped make a very memorable evening!

Jimmy Allen and The Reminder Band played at my wedding last weekend! They were so nice to learn a Dave Matthews song for our first dance and it sounded amazing! They were so amazing, all of our guests loved them and we got so many compliments! My parents who payed for the wedding are in love with Jimmy Allen! I highly recommend them and make sure they do the "Soul Train" it was a hit! As my dad says. "They were HOT!!!"

Jimmy Allen and the Reminder Band are absolutely great! They played at my wedding and were professional, friendly, and played great music. They knew what the crowd wanted to hear, and stuck with the perfect selection of music, though they range is very broad. I cannot recommend them enough. While they could get away with charging much more for their services, they are extremely reasonable as they are about the music, and not the the profit - a truly great band and a great value.

We could not have been happier. The band was so good and lively that everyone, including the babies, at the wedding were on the dance floor. I would HIGHLY recommend them . They were fabulous!

The Reminder Band was exactly what we were looking for in a band for my wedding - fun and energetic, very professional in every way, and especially great music - all the classic songs we wanted to hear and dance to! We had many changes and special requests, all of which were perfectly answered, and the price was extremely reasonable compared to what else is available in Birmingham. Thank you so much!
