About
The Shana Blake Band is an innovative new take on the classic soul cover band. The ensemble hails from Charlotte, North Carolina and features the captivating vocals of Shana Blake, backed by her longtime band of guitarist Keith Shamel, bassist Dave Eatman, and drummer John Spurrier. An event with The Shana Blake Band is filled with energetic, danceable music of the Motown era up through current hits, while also throwing in deeper cuts you know and love. Shana was deemed Critic's Choice Best Female Vocalist in the Charlotte area by Creative Loafing, has performed on national TV, and shared the stage with acts such as the legendary Booker T. & the MGs.

The Shana Blake Band has been a popular group around the Charlotte, NC area and southeast US for 10+ years and is made up of all professional full time musicians. We have years of experience playing a wide range of events, from weddings and corporate/special events, to festivals and performances at local venues. We are adept at catering to your event's environment and energy level with a keen eye on always satisfying our client and guests.

The Shana Blake Band can also perform as a duo, or up to a larger band with keyboards and horns added. If desired, the group can additionally provide a quieter cocktail set of jazz and blues for your event. Wedding ceremony music (classical guitar, or piano) is also available. DJ services also available as needed.
