The Sunset Grooves are Seattle's premiere "Yacht Rock" tribute band. This six piece ensemble performs all your favorite 70s and 80s soft rock hits - live (no backing tracks) – injecting a contagiously fun, energetic vibe in to these unforgettable old songs, while staying true to the original recordings. Let the Sunset Grooves take you on a time-machine ride to 40 years ago when these tunes were making waves on radio dials around the world. The Sunset Grooves are available to add some retro flavor to your next backyard beach party, office soiree, corporate team building shindig, roller disco, casino stage, swanky night club, or ultra-romantic wedding reception. What to Expect --------------------- The Sunset Grooves bring a cool summertime vibe to every show, infusing your favorite "soft rock" songs of the 70s and 80s with an energetic, vibrant and electric injection of undeniable fun! Expect the audience to want to dance and sing along to our unique and unforgettable song list. However, if you are seeking more subdued entertainment - we can also cater our set to include more of the "mellow" hits of the era - performed at a lower volume suitable as background music for conversation and mingling. Typical Sets ----------------- Our song list is filled with soft rock and booty-shaking hits from the 70s (see below for a sample list). We can perform up to 3x60 minute sets of music. A typical party might have 2 sets of music (with a 15-20 minute break in between). So when thinking about your event, consider how much live music you require. The Show -------------- We bring an energetic twist to the soft rock hits of the 70s that will have your crowd dancing and singing along to these forgotten radio hits. Our costumes reflect the vintage 70s style with a nautical nod to the yacht rock genre, including captain's hats! We will bring the party to your event and engage the crowd. If your event requires a more low-key music option, we can provide playlist for the first part of the evening - then the band takes the stage at the later portion of the evening.
