Out of Nowhere Dance Band from Taos, NM

Out of Nowhere is a group based in Taos, NM. Each member has performed with numerous other ensembles including Santa Fe Great Big Jazz Band, Los Alamos Blues Band, Cullen Winter Blues Band, Los Angeles Jazz Choir, Taos Gospel Choir, Lonesome Town, Popular Kid, and more. Out of Nowhere focuses on danceable cover tunes from a range of genres including soul, jazz, swing, blues, funk, and Latin, covering a variety of tempos, some with vocals and many that are strictly instrumental. As we have some talented song writers amongst us, we also perform occasional original numbers. Our repertoire consists of tunes like "Jump, Jive and Wail," "Chain of Fools," "Burnin' Down the House," "I Wish," and jazz standards, such as St. Thomas, Doxy, Comin' Home Baby, Sister Sadie, etc. We do not typically learn material for events but will choose from a list of suggestions if booking at least four weeks in advance.
