For our wedding reception, we booked the full band and horns. Let me start of saying… they truly are THE answer! I was a bit worried, not hearing the band live at first, but they were the best band we could have booked for our reception. Once they started playing the dance floor was PACKED. They were interactive with the guests, were energetic, and extremely talented. They learned our first dance song and did a magnificent job. Their manager was very easy to communicate with. They made my wedding reception the best it could be – totally worth the money spent. They were incredible! You will not regret booking this band! They are The Answer! Thank you, Answer Band!!!!!

Everyone loved The Answer Band who performed for my daughter's wedding reception. People kept asking about the band all night, and the dance floor was packed until the very end! Everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening…We were very pleased.

They did not play certain songs we asked them to play
They played a few songs we asked them not to play
Speakers & microphones very low quality - hard to understand/enjoy
Their lighting equipment was uncontrolled, often hurting our eyes
They brought 1 horn player despite 4+ in their promo video
Most horns, backup vocals, and drums were played from recordings - NOT performed live!!!
The manager and lead singer were nice but overall we were very disappointed. This band is worth $2000 at most, not the $4000 we paid for them.

We tried contacting the client 2 weeks in advance to go over playlist & details of the reception. They did not respond until the night before the wedding. We were told not to play hip-hop. We had lights on a stands that were for lighting the band only. We would have gladly adjusted lighting if someone had told us it was hurting eyes. For our sound we use a professional grade, state of the art sound system. Our video has 3 horns on it. 2 horn players were provided per client's request & it's written on the contract. All instruments and vocals were live and always have been. We did not receive a complaint until after the party ended and we had not played "Hey Ya".

Once upon a time, I was a reasonably active musician...toured the country, played festivals, yada yada. I only say that in hopes to more enthusiastically endorse these guys. They played my wedding reception in May 2016 and crushed it. Great non-stop energy, great stage presence, excellent generational spanning selections, hilarious stage banter when needed (i.e. garter/bouquet toss), worked the crowd, etc. I mean these guys are total pros. I even loved the sequin outfits, which scream we've brought the party, so let's get down. I continue to get compliments from folks that attended the wedding. Did a great job in learning our dance requests too. Highly recommended!
