I highly recommend The Belltones. The music was fantastic, and the Band really got my wedding guests out on the dance floor! Plus, their primary contact, George Farrell, was extremely easy to work with and patient with my lack of experience hiring a band. During the evening, several people came up to me to say they thought The Belltones were great.

They were great. Per our request, they selected songs based on the vibe of the party and kept the guests dancing until the end. Very professional. Several guests asked for their name and information.

Crisp, musical, swinging but not too loud; if you are a jazz lover, and would rather dance to a Jobim song or a Fats Waller song than to heavy metal, this is the band for you.

George and the band are 5 star all the way. They were on time, prepared, polished and excellent performers. I used them for my wife's 40th birthday party. They were great in working with me on the type of arrangement I wanted for the function as well as accommodating the various starts and stops with toasts and speeches. Everyone commented on how much of a difference this band made to the event and the evening. Booking a band can be stressful as you don’t really know what you are getting. These guys exceeded my expectations, set your mind at ease and go with the Belltones and you won’t be disappointed.

The Belltones were fantastic! We threw a surprise 40th wedding anniversary party for my husband's parents and were looking for a jazz band that would play music well suited for a Sunday brunch party. The Belltones were perfect and exceeded our expectations. All 80 guests commented on how wonderful they were. The music was classy and enjoyable to listen too and the band members were very professional. We would highly recommend them and look forward to hiring them again to perform at a future event. Every aspect of working with the Belltones was a delight from arranging details and planning with George to interactiving with all band memebers on the night of the event, to the amazing voice, poise, and talent of Dane Vanetter. Other band members were most talented and accomodatating. Pianist, Steve Hunt, was able to accompanying a party guest on the piano. The band had a wide range of songs. All the guests were roused to their feet and danced. Compliments are streaming in for the great time.

As a wedding planner, I was extremely pleased working with the Belltones and look forward to working with them again in the future! They were fabulous!

I am so incredibly pleased with The Belltones! They played our wedding on 09-08-07 in Newport, RI and everyone just loved them. They accommodated a very special request where I needed help cutting a recorded song so that my disabled father could dance with me. They worked the crowd wonderfully and their musical talent was obvious! They even handled making the various required RI announcements with grace and ease! Very importantly, they were excellent in their communications with me and always responded quickly. I highly, highly recommend The Belltones for your event!!

Our parents wanted their anniversary party to be a fun experience for all of their guests with lots of dancing and that is exactly what the Belltones delivered. We only made two song requests and they not only played both perfectly the rest of the set was ideal for the event. We would absolutely hire them again if the opportunity arose. In fact, my mother mentioned at one point in the evening that she hopes when our 4 year old son has his Bar Mitzvah we hire a band as good as this one was last night and she had so much fun she was compelled to kiss the lead vocalist at the end of the evening (which is not like her at all).

They were absolutely, totally, undeniably, AWESOME! They are hands down the best band I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The Belltones were simply wonderful. Although they were hired to play at the wedding, they became a part of the wedding, blending their superb renditions of danceable music with warmth and camraderie with the guests and wedding participants. Their attention to detail prior to the wedding in helping with music selection, their professionalism in conducting themselves at the wedding, and their flexibility in responding to special requests for special songs (made before the wedding) helped to make the day complete. Everyone who attended the wedding had praise for the band, but I think the most telling comment about how good they were comes from a neighbor who was not a guest at the wedding. She said that she heard the music from her house and so enjoyed it that she spent the afternoon dancing inside in her living room to the music of the Belltones. I heartily recommend The Belltones to anyone who is looking for a band for any event. John Conover
