Overall, VERY pleased with DJ Sam House. There were some hiccups due to outside forces and Sam handled them incredibly. I was never concerned about keeping the guests entertained or keeping the ceremony and reception on track. The music was great and Sam did an excellent job of moving the night along. GREAT JOB!

We've got a house full of teenagers.... We've booked alot of DJs over the years. Sam House was the BEST DJ we've ever had. Kept the music going and had a real good pulse on the party. Loved his website - being able to put together a playlist was an incredible help! We'd recommend him again and again!!!!!

Sam was brilliant. He worked out every detail in advance with ease and a lovely sense of humor. On the day of the wedding, he ensured that everything went smoothly and that every guest felt attended to. The dance floor was packed all night. He filled every request with grace and made the event a super special affair. If the need arises for an accommodating friendly dj with a huge knowledge of music; then Sam is your man. It helped that he's super cute and his smile charmed the guests completely.
The hotel staff where the wedding was held even asked for his contact info so that they could use his services on a regular basis. It was a great success thanks to Sam!

We hired Sam from DJ Sam House this summer and so glad we did. I have a huge range of friends (ages) and Sam knew exactly what to play. He is very professional and personal as if we've known him forever. I'm not good with names of artist or songs and his exact words were, "don't worry about it, I'll take care

DJ Sam House was exceptional! We had several guests ask how we found him, and all of them said that he was very good. Sam rocked the place at our wedding held at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. It wasn't an easy gig by any means, it was only a small party (40) with guests of varying age groups. However Sam managed to keep the dancefloor busy at all times. Everyone commented on how much they liked the DJ, from my 20-something friends to my 70 year old Grandmother! Sam's mix of upbeat dance tracks and party classics got everyone on their feet and dancing to the beat! When things looked like they were cooling off Sam would initiate a Conger line or some other fun interaction to keep the energy levels high. In addition to his great music and fantastic light show, Sam also handled all the MCing duties for us and effortlessly guided us through the evenings events without a hitch. I would highly recommend Sam House for any wedding party due to his excellent DJ skills, state-of-the-art light and sound equipment and his very personable manner. Thanks Sam!

Sam was really nice and even helped me mix a song that I used for my Daughter-Father dance.
He kept to the timelime meticulously and kept reminding me when we were deviating. I don't know if I appreciated that in the middle of trying to talk with my guests.
But what we were looking for was someone who could read the crowd and find ways to encourage people to get out on the dance floor and stay there once there. He didn't really do that. He just played songs and one time I heard him say for all couples to go out on the floor and they did! But that was the only time and otherwise our huge dance floor was sparsly used.
We had a Jewish wedding and we emphasized how important the Hora was for the reception. Sam indicated he did have a medly for the Hora dance but after a very short period of Hora dancing, the dance abruptly ended. It was very disappointing. Everyone just stood there and looked at each other as he launched into another song.
If you don't care about that stuff then Sam is a great guy with a really great sound system (he might want to turn it up a bit though!)

It was my pleasure going above and beyond for my client. I incorporated several traditional events throughout the evening with very little planning information provided for me, despite many attempts to collect these details before the event. All that I was told was to stay away from anything cheesy, and I did. I believe I provided extremely classy and elegant wedding reception entertainment without being over the top. Many people in attendance complimented me on my performance and requested my business card.

How do I even begin giving accolades to one of the most professional and talented DJ's I have ever worked with? DJ Sam House was brilliant. I hired him for a corporate event and he was nothing short of amazing. From the music he played to his exceptional skills as an MC, DJ Sam House took control of the microphone and kept the event going at the perfect pace. I would recommend him to anyone. He was so amazing!! In our eyes the dj is the most important part of the reception and dj Sam met our standards. He really listened to our preferences in the interview and applied them to the reception, we were impressed by his choices for the dinner music. Sam really read the crowd and the dance floor was never empty (I wasn't the only one there who said that)! His instructions and patience while arranging our wedding party pre-introductions was flawless and the entire group loved him. My mother made the cake and while she was setting up Sam came over and offered to help in any way. She thought he was the manager of the venue. When he said he was the dj, she was very surprised, since normally the dj would never even talk to the other vendors at the wedding. He is incredibly talented and very comfortable in his career choice. He even got my grandmother dancing which surprised my entire family, she looked 20 years younger! I am forever thankful I made the choice to hire him, I feel with anyone else it never would have been the perfect night.
