My name is Mike Gerth, I am a 12 year veteran to DJing and putting on special events for my clients. I am a very professional, and energetic DJ/MC that will bring the talent of the DJ world to your event. I pride myself in communication with my clients, and being able to provide so much more than "a guy with a playlist and some speakers". When I work with you, we will do 3 things together - 1) INTRODUCTION AND DESIGN: Meet to let you know what I need to prepare, and have you fill out an info sheet for your wedding, birthday party, graduation party or event and set a plan to outline and decide on one of the many different setups and packages available for your event. This could take multiple follow up emails, meetings, or phone calls which are all normal parts of the process. 2) ENERGIZE AND FINALIZE: Meet again closer to your event to finalize any details that required time to decide on if there are still things left to solidify and make sure you are excited about the final product we have designed together. At this time I will also make a trip to the venue (if needed) to determine where the venue will place me, how much room I will need, and power options so that I can properly power the equipment you have chosen for your event. (Certain items such as lighting packages, smoke machines and subwoofers consume enough juice to require separate circuits. Not all packages require this) 3) THROW A PARTY!!! At this time we have discussed and agreed upon all the specifics and I am fully prepared with special songs, names to announce, events for the evening, and the checklist and timeline for the night are complete. I will show up very early to unload all the gear and set up for success. This is the part of the event where you can now relax and allow me to provide you with the entertainment that will keep the guests happy the entire time.
