I booked with Stellar and did all negotiations with Steve Webb. The night of the event, I met Steve Harrison. Never knew of the change. Harrison was ok but not engaged with the group. He acted as if he was to be paid that night, Webb had been paid thru GIG. He seemed embarrassed when informed of the prepayment. His explanation of how he came to be given our job was confusing and unsatisfactory. I have called Steve Webb at Stellar 3 times hoping to get an explanation. He has not returned my calls.

I would like a moment to explain what has happened on this Gig.
First we are Stellar Occasions, I have 10 DJ's that currently work for us or is contracted with us. When someone calls they do not always get Steven Webb (I own the company and do my best to be the main DJ, however that does not always happen).
Customers that book with us are not calling Steven Webb DJ for hire. Inside our Entertainment agreement and Website it does say that if I am unavailable to be your DJ another person from my company will be assigned, and I try to be upfront about that. These people were great. I loved them. They accommodated us, and were perfect for our event. They had a great selection of music and kept people dancing and singing (we did karaoke). I appreciated their flexibility!

Steve, the owner of the company was extremely responsive to my request for a quote. He was communicative throughout the process. He get's 5 stars. The DJ assigned to us was nice and did a fine job as DJ. She was late getting to the event, but luckily it was easily hidden from our attendees that she was setting up while they were there. Again, not a problem for us that night. In general I think a DJ should allow a TON of extra time to understand the logistics of getting to the place where he/she will be working. Having said this they were BY FAR the most affordable and I think provided a great service overall.

Steve was awesome! He went above and beyond for us, was there super early to set up, and left very last. I was very impressed and grateful for the service he provided, it made our event a lot more fun and entertaining. I would book him for future events for sure. Thanks Steve!
