The Boss Groover was a hit at my wedding reception! He picked the perfect songs to set the mood for a classy and relaxing dinner, and then transitioned to dance music at the perfect time. People were on the dance floor before I even had to think about encouraging people to dance. He was so easy to work with and never tried to steal the show. Everyone was commenting on how great the music was. Thanks Boss Groover for an excellent reception!!

My husband and I were both very happy with our DJ. He helped keep everything running smoothly throughout the entire reception, from the party introductions all the way to the last dance. He knew how to keep the guests engaged, played a great set, and even incorporated a few songs that we provided. And he had a great attitude when he had to wait for us to scramble around finding the cash to provide final payment when I had left my checkbook (after feeling so thoroughly organized by writing out all of my checks ahead of time so I wouldn't have to worry), in my car at the hotel parking lot instead of at the venue. Really helped make our wedding day special.

Everyone had a fantastic time at our party, and loved the music that was played. People were singing, dancing and having a great time, and quite a few commented on how good the DJ (Ed) was. He took requests, made announcements when we asked, and was very professional. His experience showed in his choices of music, and when it was played. Ed was a very important part of the success of our Surprise Birthday/New Year's Eve Party!!!

No question about it you need to book him for your next event. You can tell he has experience and I had no worries he made my day happy an fun!!!

Ed was AMAZING! We were under a deadline and I was really quite unusual with my requests. The Boss Groover went above and beyond all expectations and met every request with professionalism and concern. I would recommend to every person entering the site to check out The Boss Groover...amazing doesn't even seem adequate. He returned every call before the event. Spoke with us regularly to make sure all needs were met. What he didn't have, he went out and found and made sure our requests were covered. The crowd of 300 were all complimentary and even asked for the CD of music. Thank you to Ed and the Gigmaster sight, you ROCK!

The Boss was great. First off we forgot to have a table set-up for him and he just pulled up a little end table and said "I'm good!"... and he was. Most of our guests and friends are mid 20 somethings and the Boss Knew exactely what to play to get, as my wife put it, our dance-party-wedding going. He was friendly and accomadating to myself and our guest. If we weren't moving to San Diego, we'd def use him again.

I'm taking it upon myself to change Ed's alias to "The AMAZING Boss Groover". Ed was terrific! We had an "After-Elopement-Celebration-Party" for close to 90 of our friends and family and the dance floor was packed all night. Ed had everyone up dancing- from a 6-yr old all the way up to my 87 yr old grandmother! The music was fantastic. Everyone had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend to ANYONE that needs a Professional DJ, The Amazing Boss Groover is your guy!!! :)

Ed is a great guy. Nowadays it might not be the smartest thing...but we basically did everything like it should be done...."by a handshake and your word". I didn't have to worry about contracts and all that B.S. Ed gave me the price, said he'd be there on the day of the party and he did what he was hired to do. I couldn't have asked for anything more. If your not familiar with hiring DJ's (like I was) and have an "old school" way of thinking you'll be pleasantly surprised. I guess 20-30 yrs in the business helps. We hired Ed to do an "American Bandstand" themed party for our organization. As our organization is national in scope, the local host committee wanted Philly to look good, and Ed did a fantastic job in helping this to happen. Ed has an obvious passion for music, and for his gigs, and truly loves what he does. He is also very easy to deal with. Most importantly, the people at the party had a great time, which is what it is all about. Long live the Bossgroover!

Guests at our event just loved how diverse Boss Groover's music library was, and many enjoyed songs they hadn't heard for years. He played a great mix of music for the group that was in attendance, and a wonderful time was had by all. We'd definitely consider using Boss Groover in the future!
