I picked the Music Kitchen because of the good reviews by others who used them on this website. Even though they were more expensive than many other DJs, they seemed like they would do the best job and be one less thing for me stress about. They were easy to talk to and work with, something I appreciated after talking to some other DJs before I picked them. My husband and I were very satisfied. They played our diverse and international selection of music, and their website was helpful in organizing the wedding.

The music kitchen went far and beyond what can be expected. Excellent attention to detail and very proffesional. We partied for an extra half hour and still wanted more. very smooth. We used there photography to and are very happy with the service and quality of product. They are the real deal and we'd recommend them to anyone with high standards. Thank you music kitchen

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH! As a wedding planner I’ve seen many DJS and entertainers, some on this service. The music kitchen and its staff are in a class by themselves. Honest-knowledgeable-professional-skilled with great personality.
Jose n company offer great extras and are an asset on and off location. Established with a nice office that offers great hours to visit, you can see what you’re actually getting LIVE and in the mix. They have awesome sound, presentation, great light show, and coordinated with staff at hotel. Totaly blew me away. What more can you ask. They are the crème of the crème. Worth every cent.
This high society wedding featured 276 guests, many from the music industry itself. The way Jose programmed the evening and the fluent ORIGINAL mixes (which is rare) of music really kept the dance floor LIVE and the bride and groom very happy. They actually ran out of business cards. A rare find. WOW! I highly recommend and will surly use again. Anthony Matola. N.Y.C.

Just outstanding. I do not know of any other word that can discribe the music kitchens service. We booked dj, video an photo for our "bilingual wedding" at the tides. They showed us live demonstrations and actual work in their office and was always available to answer all our questions. We danced the hours away (they know music) and the crew was not intrusive. They did the after party as well.everyone mentioned how great and different my wedding was. A dream. Just what I wanted. Would I recommend them? I searched and I can't think of any other company that I would recommend as much as these guys. Twice above average for sure.

We were very pleased all around with Jose and the Music Kitchen. We hired Jose for my son's bar mitzvah and recommend him highly. He kept all the kids (and grownups) entertained throughout the 4 hour event. This is our third positive experience with gigmasters and will be back for more.

The Music Kitchen is outstanding. I agree with all the great reviews. They proved I could be worry free. Thank you Melanie for your coordinating and patience and Jose and Harry for you masterful lead. I saw them at another wedding two years ago and never forgot them. They're well polished in photo video djs and interior light.
Our wedding at Window of the world was beautiful all around and they had so much to do with it. Begining with pre planning in the office and excellent lead plus there beautiful setup down to the last dance they were outstanding.
I love them and highly recommend to anyone who wants an evening to cherish. Very much appreciated. Mr & Mrs. R

Amazing 3x & then some. LOL. I can honestly say that I see why others have raved about The Music Kitchen. They made our special day just that, EXTRA SPECIAL. Real class. My Italian and Puerto Rican wedding mixed together on the floor ALL NITE LONG. Jose spoke both Spanish & Italian. SO DIFFERENT. Wow. My husbands also a DJ and was really impressed. Jose was bombarded with fans.
The staff helped me with so much and answered every question I asked. A no brainer for any party. Worth the $. :)
A great website for a bride to organize music & time plus.. Fabulous original mixes. Great personality. BEAUTIFUL.

FANTASTIC sums it all up. Jose played a superb role as Emcee/Master of Ceremonies. His personality and and professionalism worked hand in hand and lend to the events overall success. Jose was great to work with. He was easy to get in touch with before the event and accommodated all of our special requests. During the night he observed our crowd and seamlessly switched music genres at various points which kept people dancing and having a great time. He had a hassle free setup and breakdown which got him playing very quickly and he was able to keep it going until the last few people were there. We had a great time and our staff party was a huge success with the atmosphere he created.

EXTRA SPECIAL ENTERTAINERS. The ABSOLUTE BEST I've seen in over 9 years of event planning. I was referred to The Music Kitchen by another party planner that used them for a wedding & whom raved about Jose & Harry. My wedding was very elegant & mixed. It demanded DETAILS OVER DETAILS to say the least.
Jose's staff made it very easy to coordinate all. From music request & planning one can save to PC from his database to details like first dances & intros. They offer another dimension when it comes to audio and visual effects to say the least. Just excellent.
Classy and professional DJ & MC. A must have for a wedding to remember. I Cant wait to use them again. A PLUS

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!! We just had our 2007 Holiday Party with Jose of The Music Kitchen on 12/15. Jose made our event the best one yet with his talent! In a restaurant filled to capacity and a tight schedule in which to fit in Holiday and dinner music, karaoke and Salsa, Jose did an outstanding job in accommodating our group beyond our highest expectations. He was extremely flexible, very professional in his presentation, and provided seamless interaction with our group with all of our activities and requests. I would recommend The Music Kitchen very highly to anyone who wants to have a successful event with phenomenal music and entertainment!

Jose our DJ was awesome! He was very professional and fun! He understood exactly what we wanted. Our agenda got a bit messed up because dinner was served a bit late but he took care of us and made sure that all our guests were happy and nobody realized that there was something wrong because they were having so much fun!! All our guests loved Jose and the music that he played. At first I was a bit nervous and paranoid, but Jose assured me that everything was going to be fine and that he would take care of us and that's exactly what he did. The only complain that I have is that the party was too short!! Thank you wedding kitchen and Jose for such a great job!!

Everybody loved Jose. He was great and we will be using his services again. Hopefully we'll see him again next year for our one year anniversary. DJ Jose really surprised us at the Reception. He had everyone at the party dancing! He was so full of energy, he even came out to the dance floor a few times to dance with the crowd. We had a multi cultural ethiopian and puerto rican wedding and he was very accomodating with mixing the genres. He really put the icing on the cake! We were extremely pleased with him! Thanks Jose!!

It was so special the Music Kitchen did a wonderful job. We loved the professionalism and the fact that they went out of there way to make my daughters sweet sixteen the very best. Presently I going for a position at Deutsche Bank and will be handling some events the Music Kitchen will be the ones I would call for any events we may have at the Bank.
Guests at our party are still talking about the DJ he superceded our expectations and them some.
It was a fabulous party because or the Music Kitchen.
Words can not express the feeling we got from the music to the preparation that the Music Kitchen did for my daughters party.
We loved them.

Jose was very professional in completing all music requests in a timely manner. He really worked with everyone to accommodate musical tastes and coordinated the crowds energy level. All of the guests commented on what a great DJ Jose is with light works (get the extra color lights...very well worth it) and music. He is also very professional with showroom demos and being early to do a proper setup. He is a great MC as well! I would highly recommend him to all of my friends and family for weddings and parties.

Jose and his staff were superior in providing all our needs, including music selection, event pacing and timing and providing access to an excellent photographer.
Both my groom and I were slow in providing details to The Music Kitchen, but Jose was able to draw out the information he needed to provide an excellent evening experience.
Our last-minute requests were accomodated, usually within minutes, which tells me Jose's experience is so extensive that he can anticipate requests and make changes without much more than a flick of a switch or a simple word or two to his staff.
The Music Kitchen provided much more than even our expectations and, consequently, the evening was a huge success for the wedding party and all the guests.

Because of our hectic work schedule, planning our wedding was a big challenge. The music kitchen understood how problem and was very accommodating. Jose was very diligent in helping us put together our play list and integrating our vision in the flow of the party.
Everyone at the party was blown away by the music. Our friends are still raving about the DJ. Once Jose gets you on the dance floor, he keeps you there. He knows how to keep the energy going. Thanks Jose and The Music Kitchen.
