Hello, I am Edna Thompson. I currently star as Lenae Parkland in “Office Blue-Shelter in Place” now streaming on Tubi Tv, Prime Video, Xumo, TCL, Mometu and Popsy on Plex. My last film, “Office Blue-Our Christmas” has been submitted for distribution and will be streaming in the near future. In August 2022, I starred in “Office Blue LIVE” staged in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. If booked, you can expect a well-polished, engaging and entertaining Mistress of Ceremonies! I love and live to entertain. In 2021, we filmed “Office Blue-Shelter in Place”. In 2020, due to COVID-19, we rehearsed on Zoom. I am also a gospel and inspirational artist. I performed as a solo gospel and inspirational artist, blessed to be the last vocalist to perform before Marvin Sapp took the stage in South Carolina at Columbia’s Black Expo on May 20, 2018. Marvin Sapp and my performance was separated by a talk show on stage hosted by Charlamagne tha God. During the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina - on August 6, 2018, performed as a lead actress in a staged reading Get Off the Bus by Kim El. The performance earned a raving standing ovation. On August 9, 2018 performed as a lead in the staged reading of Carver a musical written and co-directed by the Grammy award winning and five Tony nominated, Micki Grant. I was the only female vocalist to perform in that production (all singers sung A cappella). This performance also received a standing ovation. On September 16, 2018, became a two-time specially featured performer at Mount Zion Baptist Church’s Senior Adult Ministry Talent Showcase. On October 6, 2018, the audience was moved to tears during my performance at Words of Essence's 12th Annual Gospel Showcase & Talent Show 2017 in Durham, North Carolina.
