Uptown Strutters (formerly Aspen Broadband) Variety Band from Aspen, CO

Featuring the former touring keyboardist from 70's super-group Three Dog Night, this band has a foolproof "A" list that rocks every single event it has ever played. Performing over 300 weddings since the mid 90's in Aspen CO., this band has seen and done it all from rock to pop to country to polkas and most importantly can play an entire gig's worth of the world's most enduring jazz standards. Often the 'jazz" version of the group known as the Uptown Strutters -will open the show with a cocktail hour of easy listening jazz standards featuring the outstanding vocal interpretations of Roberta Lewis with Steve Cole on clarinet and sax and Dave Bluefield on keys/bass. The wedding band will learn a custom first dance and father-daughter song but after 300 weddings we can also suggest the very best that have worked well in past performances. Steve Cole is also a professional DJ with a great deep "DJ voice" that can serve as Master of Ceremonies with great wit.
