The Shaker Lakes Chamber Players is a professional ensemble, based in northeast Texas, providing tasteful, memorable music for wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, and many other functions in Texas, and around the country. The members are comprised of graduates from top-rated music schools and conservatories around the nation, including the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Eastman School of Music, and Florida State University. The members of the Shaker Lakes Chamber Players have well over a decade's experience working with couples, event planners, and officiants to provide the desired atmosphere for your event, whether as a solo artist, duo, trio, quartet, or larger ensemble. Members of the Shaker Lakes Chamber Players have performed with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (Georgia), Sinfonia Gulf Coast, the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Opera Cleveland Orchestra, the Blue Water Chamber Orchestra, the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra, the Erie Philharmonic, the Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra (Alabama), the Slee Sinfonietta (New York), the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra of Columbus (Ohio), and the Lancaster Festival Orchestra, and have performed as guest artists at colleges such as Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. The Shaker Lakes Chamber Players perform a wide variety of music of many different styles, including standard works of the classical repertoire and many pop/rock favorites, as well as traditional Jewish melodies.
