Hello, It's nice to virtually meet you! My name is Brionna and I'm no stranger to the event, meeting, conference and tradeshow planning industry. I started my event planning career at 13, planning and coordinating field trips for grades 6 - 8 at my middle school. I learned at an early age that my passion for seeing other people happy could be fulfilled through watching them enjoy a moment I helped create. I continued planning events, trips, and shows throughout high school and college, planning well over 50 events with attendance ranging from 10 – 1500 people. I earned my undergraduate degree in Marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University (MSU). I then went on to attend the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at MSU and obtained my master's degree in Public Relations. I strongly believe that the communication leading up to and surrounding an event has a lot to do with the events overall success. In my most recent corporate position I worked with an engineering firm as a full time marketing specialist and team lead of the global events committee. Working with people from all over the world, I helped manage all planning elements for this global conference. This included securing hotel accommodations (room block), travel, venues, entertainment, and more. My favorite part of planning is event logistics, as I feel it is the most overlooked part of the planning process in most cases. In addition to logistics, I have particular expertise in the areas of site selection, contract negotiation, agenda building, and strategic communication planning including social media. From personal events such as weddings, baby showers, and birthday parties to multi-day conferences, software launches, corporate meetings, and customer appreciation events, I interject my creativity into everything I do.
