Take the opportunity to create some forever memories with me. Nothing is more heart grabbing than hearing years after an event how the customer’s son cried when the Batman face had to be removed before bed. It’s a crazy fun business, most of the memories are awesome, and apparently some are traumatic. I wish I could just step back in time and promise that little man another Batman. So, definitely Batman today, before it’s too late!... We organize our events around the choice board. Most face painters do the on-the-fly style choice. I did this for the first 2.5 of my face painting life and the results were all over the place. Sometimes it was good. Sometimes it was great. Sometimes I wished I could have a “re-do”. It is one of the main reasons why I was not encouraged to start this as a business. One day I thought: what would make this a viable business for me? And the choice board only concept was born for me. Will they be ok with that? I have no clue. So we tried it out at one outdoor event. Then we tried it at a festival. It was a screaming success. Nearly every parent took the time to connect with me, the kids stopped by the tent hours later to show how well their designs were holding up. We made instant lovely friendships. It was one lynchpin in affirming that we could in fact do this. So now when you call, you will have to help us decide what sorts of things go on our board beforehand. It is a fantastic process.
