David was fantastic!!! Not only was he able to accomodate my last minute request (maybe 2 weeks prior to the wedding), he did a beautiful job. I love the spanish guitar and it was a dream come true to hear him playing as I made my grand entrance. Everyone enjoyed his music and he was able to meet some unusual song requests from guests...Green Day, anyone? All in all, we were thrilled to have David at our special day. Thank you for making it even more memorable!

David arrived on time, played very well, was cordial, and his acoustic guitar playing provided great background music for my wife's surprise birthday party. I received many complements from the guests on the music he played ... he really added a great vibe to the event. I highly recommend David!!

David did a fantastic job playing at my Lions Club Fundraiser. He arrived early, was very flexible about the set up, was friendly and professional and played beautifully. When half of our attendees left the room for a tour of the museum David took a break and then offered to resume playing when they came back. He played longer than he needed to - which was awesome! We will definitely hire him again.

We couldn't have been happier with David's professionalism and easy manner. He arrived early to set up, only took breaks when pressed and played beautifully. A sound adjustment we requested (volume) he quickly and easily accomodated.
His guitar playing added a rich background to our anniversary gathering. I would recommend him and hire him again.

David was a real professional. He arrived early was accommodating, very conscious about breaks and best of all extremely talented. I can’t say enough good things about him...To sum up his credibility, when I accidentally overpaid him he called the next day and explained why he was sending me a check back for the difference. I wish all the folks I have hired over the years were a honest and hard working. I will hire him again.

We hired David for a funeral service & were extremely pleased. He responded in a very timely way to a number of emails we sent during the week. I was impressed about his sensitivity to the difficult time our family was going through, and actually hired him over the other two musicians I had contacted because of his initial response back to us. We were not real sure what we wanted him to play but thanks to the Gigmasters site, knew that his style was perfect -- beautiful and uplifting. He made excellent selections and is an amazing musician. I have already recommended him to friends and will do so in the future. Thank you for helping us find David.

As a professional musician myself, I found David very easy to work with. I played sax (alto, tenor) clarinet and flute unrehearsed but you'd think we had been performing together for years, We got along really well and had fun playing together, My only regret is that we didn't have more time to play. After considering a number of performers for our event (my wife's 65th birthday party) David O'Connor was my first choice, and I was correct in my assessment. David arrived early to set up, was flexible and accommodating, and extremely personable. But beyond the mechanics and logistics, David was an excellent performer, professional and talented, but also warm and involved. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed David's playing and how much it added to the event. We will definitely consider hiring David to perform at future events.
