John Friday was excellent. He listened to our requests and set an amazing tone for our wedding. The ceremony music was perfect and our cocktail hour tunes were great!! John has great talent and I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for the great music and a great time!!

I'm not quite sure how to respond. It seemed to me that the attendees had a very good time, and I thought I handled all special requests quite promptly and completely. John was fantastic. The only reason I went with a 4 on professionalism was his attire at arrival and while it absolutely wasn't a problem for my husband and I for a beach wedding as we are extremely laid back, if someone wanted a very formal presentation, they may wish to make sure to talk to him about it. That said, he was incredibly accommodating learning the music we asked for, working with our vocalists, and customizing to our style with his own music which was fun and perfect for the setting. We enjoyed having him a part of our 25 destination vow renewal event and he had folks dancing in advance of the DJ. It was perfect.

I have to admit, I'm a bit perplexed at the negative review of my attire. I arrived to set up in a very nice polo-style shirt and flip-flops (most gigs I set up in a nice t-shirt before changing into my performance attire), and changed into a VERY nice white tropical button-down shirt for the performance. As there was no indication of a desire for a more formal look (i.e. long pants, dress short, jacket, etc) I went with what has served well for beach events; dressy shorts, boat shoes and the aforementioned formal-but-tropical shirt. Had anything been said at the time, btw, I had khaki pants and dress shoes in my car and could have changed.
