Lem Sheppard Blues Guitarist from Pittsburg, KS

Lem Sheppard is a guitarist and singer who performs traditional music, folk and jazz. He has performed abroad, nationally, as well as at many regional and International music festivals. He is endorsed by; Kansas City Young Audiences, Humanities Kansas, Kansas Creative Arts Industries, Mid America Arts Alliance and he received The Meritorious Achievement Award from Pittsburg State University. Lem was a national finalist in the Telluride Blues Contest, is a member of the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame and received the Joan O'Bryant Award from the Kansas Folklore Society. Lem Sheppard has also performed under the Auspices of; The State Department, UNESCO and a Congressional Committee selected him to represent Kansas on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center.
