Emily began playing the harp at weddings and parties at age 10. She has competed nationally and performed with the Harp Ensemble and University Orchestra at BYU. Emily regularly performs at the Grand America for their Afternoon Tea. She also works as a harp and piano instructor. Emily has played for weddings at numerous locations across the Wasatch Front, including La Caille, the Grand America, Tuscany, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, Heritage Gardens, Red Butte Gardens, This is the Place Heritage Park, the Thomas S. Monson Center, and Millcreek Inn, among others. Emily primarily studied with Tamara Oswald, principal harpist for the Orchestra at Temple Square. She also studied with Janet Peterson of Ballet West and ShruDeLi Owneby at BYU. With 25+ years of performance experience, Emily has built a large repertoire of pop, Broadway, classical, and holiday music to fit a variety of styles and occasions.
