I have been involved in music and playing professionally for over 30 years, playing for events from Weddings, Dinners, Silent Auctions, Church Events, Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Celebration of Life, Festivals and so many more!! Attending Moody Bible Institute where I studied music, was instructed by many highly professional musicians, and performed in the symphonic orchestra has laid a foundation for a career in music and a heart for exceptional service! I would be happy to provide music for your wedding ceremony, Harp or Piano/ Keyboard solo. I also have joining me, for the option of instrumental duets, Violin or Cello accompaniment!! Mary Jo Koppenaal is a highly talented violinist and a close friend who I have the pleasure of joining me in an instrumental duet setting to create a magical and enjoyable atmosphere for your wonderful celebration! With over 35 years of experience in violin performance, Mary Jo is a seasoned musician ready to bring your event to life. She has had the privilege of performing with west Michigan ensembles including the West Shore Youth Symphony, the West Shore Symphony, and the Holland Symphony Orchestra. Mary Jo’s background includes serving as the concertmaster for both the Hope College Orchestra and the Hope College Symphonette. In addition to classical performances, Mary Jo has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. Her formal education in violin performance included studying with Eric Rosenblith at the esteemed New England Conservatory in Boston. For over 10 years, Mary Jo was a member and manager of the Brioso String Quartet, providing music for numerous weddings and special events, ensuring that each occasion was memorable and unique. Currently she is a violinist for the worship team at Reslife Church in Grandville, Community Reformed Church in Zeeland, and Family Church in Holland, Michigan.
