Virginia Schweninger Harpist from Faber, VA

Virginia Schweninger has played the harp most all of her life, arriving at a very relaxed and joyful approach to the instrument. Virginia performs both as a soloist and in ensemble at weddings and private events, playing often with a violinist or flutist. They play an eclectic mix of Broadway, film and classical pieces. Her CD, “Somewhere in Time” won the 3rd Place Just Plain Folks Indie Music Award for Best Solo Instrumental. You will find her harp music on YouTube. You will find that the harp is a surprisingly versatile instrument which can be transported to many different types of locations from vineyards to gardens or churches. Virginia performs often at the UVA Chapel, Blue Mountain Brewery, Veritas Winery, Pharsalia Plantation, the King Family Vineyard, The Golden Horseshoe, Wintergreen and Pippin Hill Vineyard, to name a few.
