Lori Lee Magoon is a NH master licensed alcohol & drug counselor and NH licensed clinical mental health clinician who works in private practice at Self-Empowerment-NH, LLC in Concord, NH. Lori is the founder and CEO of Self-empowerment-NH. She has worked in the mental health and substance misuse profession since 2007. She is the President of the NH Alcohol and Drug Counselors Association, author of the book “Just Ask Andy” and she is the past host of Self-Empowerment-NH on WSMN 1590 and WKXL 103.9 FM When Lori is not counseling or advocating for mental health and substance misuse treatment in NH, she facilitates trainings all throughout the nation related to Substance Misuse in the Workplace, Signs and symptoms of your Child (student) Using Mind Altering Substances, Self-care in the Workplace, Positive Perceptions, and Challenging Yourself to be a Happier Person. Lori's therapeutic approach is talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy and hypnosis. She believes that we are only what we believe and many of those beliefs could be toxic. By understanding the belief system and how the brain works, clients could turn their life around and be empowered to live the existence that they have always wanted and deserved.
