Bob Stankard with the Craig Satchell Orchestra strives to provide a historically accurate look, sound and feel for your entertainment and dancing pleasures. We play the most popular songs from each decade, starting from the 1920s into the 1960s. Depending upon your budget, the Orchestra scales from a four-piece combo all the way up to a twelve-piece recreation of a vintage big band ballroom dance band. The orchestra provides a classic musical and visual ambiance for that truly elegant mid century-type experience. We provide historically authentic mood music that supports your guests conversing and then liven things up with our “nightclub style” floor show that includes singing, dancing and even comedy... (always G-rated). Bob, who is an accomplished and charismatic front man, trumpeter and Jazz swing vocalist is widely considered a master at engaging and captivating audiences with humor and stories between songs. We can also deliver a "Broadway Style" musical entertainment show for fundraising events. Craig who has regularly performed at some of Philly's most prestigious venues, has assembled in his orchestra some of the most highly respected Jazz virtuoso's' in the area.
