Dr. Jazz and his colleagues were wonderful. Their music was great. They thoughtfully tailored their music to our requests and to our three generation family. It was special that they allowed our 10 year old granddaughter play “The Saints Come Marching In” on their keyboard with them.

I was having a Conference in New Orleans at the Sheraton Hotel and wanted to have a nice Jazz group. Found a Fantastic group of guys. They really made our event the event I wanted it to be. They are very professional and the music was AWSOME. Everyone enjoyed it. My attendees were coming up to me saying “Those guys are great’. I am so glad I booked them for our event.

Dr. Jazz and The New Orleans Sounds were absolutely fabulous! Our guests are still raving about how great they were, and how perfect their music was for our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with. They had suggestions for our song list when we weren't sure, and were very accommodating with our requests when we had a special song in mind. This review doesn't do the band justice- they were amazing! I can't recommend them highly enough.

They played beautifully, were on time and very professional. My only comment is that we had originally talked about doing a 20 minute second line, which did not happen. It may have been a miscommunication.

In response to correct this information: We absolutely provided a rolicking second line, a segue from the ceremony recessional, parading across the street from the venue and around the pocket park there which took 7-8 minutes. We then secondlined back to the venue where the plan was to continue the second line inside the venue to complete the 20 minutes as discussed with the bride and confirmed by her bridesmaid just before the ceremony. However, someone directed the guests back out to the street. For future clients, New Orleans requires a parade permit and police escort to parade on public streets and it is our job to be sure nothing illegal is done.

Dr. Jazz and the New Orleans Sound were absolutely wonderful. The music was beautiful. They also found a moment that I was standing still for a second and played a special song just for me and then they played a song that they wrote just for my new husband and me. The 4-piece band that we used arrived on time and were a very nice addition to our cocktail hour and dinner. They were accomodating and moved from the 2nd floor after cocktails up to the 8th floor for dinner. We were very satisfied and would use them again.
