Eden Lane Jazz Band from Seattle, WA

Eden Lane is a jazz band with an affinity for The Great American Songbook, classic film noir, and the wit and glamour of a bygone era. Anchored by redheaded songbird Stephanie Layton, our sets include a combination of fresh takes on famous tunes and rare gems from deep in the vintage vault. Recent appearances include Charlotte Tilbury Beauty's "Hollywood Collection" launch, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's farewell banquet, The American Federation of Arts Fall Gala, events for Macallan Scotch, S'well Bottle, ARRI Rental, and numerous weddings and parties at premiere venues all over New York and its surrounding areas. We were also recently honored to be featured in Grammy.com's article "The State of Jazz in NYC." Our primary passion is standards from the 1920s - 1950s (think Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra or Peggy Lee arrangements), but we handily pull off a wide range of material from other musical genres when requested. We can play as two - six pieces to best accommodate your event, and offer female vocals, guitar, upright bass, trumpet, saxophone, drums, piano, and percussion. Several of our band members sing as well, which makes us versatile when it comes to pulling off "outside-the-box" material or harmonizing. *A Few Other Things About Working With Us* 1. We are a small group of musician friends who love playing together and feel blessed to be making our livings in the arts. We are not a "factory wedding band" with a giant roster of musicians who have never met each other before the gig. 2. We are 100% on top of communication - ask any of our past clients! You'll never worry that we've "disappeared" or that details won't be taken care of, and we are happy to work with you as much (or as little) as desired to curate your dream musical experience. 3. We can play quietly, and are perfectly suited for both intimate events and larger celebrations where music is intended to be a focus. We tailor our sound to fit the space, and we care as much about sound level and vibe as you do! 4. In addition to sounding great, we look like a million bucks (in our humble opinions)! We dress to impress, and whether it's flower vines on the mic stands for your Enchanted Garden party or fabulous finger waves and bow ties for your Great Gatsby bash, we love adding special details when your event calls for it.
