OUR STYLE Ginger and The Schnappes plays the pop tunes with their fun, jazzy style and songs from the Great American Songbook. JAZZ, POP, LATIN, COUNTRY AND BLUES genres all represented in our playing. We play the familiar tunes from FRANK SINATRA, ELLE FITZGERALD, COUNT BASIE, ROGERS AND HART, GLENN MILLER etc. Then we add contemporary tunes: THE BEATLES, THE STONES, JOHNNY CASH, THE MONKEES, THE EURHYTHMICS, THE PRETENDERS, ELVIS - and we play them with our poppy jazz style. We can also provide a full evening of MUSIC FOR SWING DANCING for all your East Coast, Lindy Hop, Shag, Charleston and Jitter Bug needs! Is your 1920's bash serving giggle juice on the down-low Great Gatsby style? We've got the tunes to make it the bee's knees! We can keep it light and mellow for background dinner music, uplift it for a jazz cabaret-style show, swing it for a dance, and combine it all together for your party, cocktail party or wedding. Whatever your event needs we will "read the room" and keep the music right. HOW MUCH BAND DO YOU WANT? Our six piece band - guitar, piano, bass, sax, drum and vocal - creates a rich, full sound. Prefer a duo? For smaller rooms and parties we also offer GINGER AND JOE -vocals and guitar. Prefer a trio? THE GINGER TRIO features vocals, guitar and saxophone. Have something else in mind?
