Johns Jazz Jazz Band from Arroyo Grande, CA

Johns Jazz starts as a quartet with trumpet / flugelhorn, piano, bass and drums. Frequently, I include a vocal or instrumental guest artist to join us. Each of us enjoy playing different styles of music, but our primary focus is jazz. Our music is popular jazz, meaning jazz standards with some newer songs added for variety. More than likely if you live on or near the Central Coast of California, you have heard us play as a group or individually in other ensembles. The type of venues we would be appropriate for are restaurants, wineries, parties, conventions, or similar venues. Besides jazz standards like "Satin Doll", "There Will Never Be Another You" and "Autumn Leaves", we play songs everyone knows like "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", "More (from the movie Mondo Cane)", "Dream A Little Dream" (Mama's and Papa's) and "This Masquerade". We are always adding new songs to our repertoire so if there is something you wish to have played, we either already have it, or can get it.
