As a Kansas City based drummer and bandleader my only focus is serving the businesses and individuals in Kansas City. The Jim Lower Trio, Quartet and even Big Band is available for your next wedding, anniversary party or corporate event. As I professional jazz drummer I have had the pleasure to play music professionally in Kansas City since 2012 and have the ability to put together any type of group ranging from a piano trio all the way up to a 16-piece big band with vocals! Why use a booking agent based in another city to book music in Kansas City when A Kansas City native can do it better and can meet with you and discuss the details of your event in person? Musically all of my groups stick to the "Great American Songbook," the songs performed by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald or Michael Buble. We do this so we can focus on songs people have known and loved for 60 years. If you book us you will never hear original or avant guard jazz. We can also include a large variety of latin and Brazilian jazz standards like "Girl From Ipanema."
