The Michael Block Jazz Quintet began in the Ann Arbor neighborhood of Kerrytown. The band performs all genres of jazz, including latin jazz, cool jazz, bebop, blues and many others. The Quintet acknowledges special requests prior to any given event.
Each member of the Michael Block Jazz Quintet is a highly dedicated artist of their respective instrument, many of whom have performed with one another in other ensembles as well. Each artist in the quintet is highly dedicated to the highest quality of excellence in musical entertainment.
