PhunkYard is a 5-piece jazz-funk-fusion band from Los Angeles California. The band performs classic funk fusion hits by artists such as Marcus Miller, David Garfield, Billy Cobham, George Duke, John Schofield, Los Lobotomys, Tower of Power, David Sanborn, Herbie Hancock, Mike Stern and has recently added several new original compositions to their repertoire. PhunkYard creates an exotic fusion of jazz, funk and rock instrumental music, combining a mixture of syncopated rhythms, melodic heads and creative arrangements.
