Sam Ross Trio Jazz Band from Long Beach, CA

I am jazz pianist from Long Beach, California. I have been playing piano for a total 13 years and jazz for 9 years. I am currently teaching piano about 20 hours a week and gigging 3-5 times a week, so music is essentially a full time job for me. I play in all sorts of scenes: restaurants, bars, clubs, festivals, churches, and so on. My group can be hired for a variety of different purposes, be it cocktail hour music, a wedding band, a concert showcase, and so on. Though we are primarily a jazz trio, we can cover most anything and are adept at many different genres- gospel, rock, pop, funk, and so on. The instrumentation can vary depending on your needs as well. Though I mainly work in the trio setting (piano, bass, drums), I can be hired solo, duo (piano and vocals, piano and saxophone etc), quartet (trio + a horn player or singer, etc).
