THE HOT TODDIES JAZZ BAND are a fun loving hot jazz & swing band in NYC with an eclectic mix of styles rooted in jazz standards & originals -- perfect for dancing, celebrating, & good times!
We're here to take your event to the next level... from a stylish cocktail hour, to a swinging dance floor, or a Roaring 20's Gatsby Party. We regularly perform in varying sizes, from an instrumental quartet, to a large band featuring two singers & tap dancer. We can customize the band to fit your needs and budget.
The band pulls from some of the top award winning jazz musicians in New York City, performing worldwide everywhere from Jazz at Lincoln Center and The Sydney Opera House, to Carnegie Hall, the top Jazz Clubs & Festivals, and on tour with Post Modern Jukebox (incl. videos with millions of views). Recently, our music director & co-bandleader was nominated for a 2022 Grammy Award!
While we take music making seriously, we love to have fun and get people dancing... our wacky music video "Dunkin Bagel" (off our July 2021 debut EP), hit 100k views on Facebook, and our other videos on YouTube have thousands of views... we posted a few on our profile her on The Bash.
The band has performed around NYC for private & public events at venues such as The Plaza Hotel, The Public, The Players Club, The Standard, Elsie Rooftop, Cambria Rooftop, The Secret Room, and Watermark. Clients for private events include The Red Cross, The Plaza Hotel, The Players Club, BNI, Mann Investments, as well as VIP club openings for 'Elsie Rooftop' and 'Somewhere Nowhere.'
In addition, the band can provide additional services upon request, including a full PA / sound system for live music as well as full backline. We can also provide other performers such as a DJ, Emcee, swing dancers, tap dancers, magicians, chorus girls, pinup girls, burlesque dancers, choreographed dace troupes, and more!
The band is also fully vaccinated, and are happy to show proof upon request. During events, we're more then willing to follow any specific guidelines and safety/health protocols.
If you'd like to hear us live, please let us know... feel free to reach out with any questions!
