The Jugtime Ragband has a reputation as a party band that gets the crowd dancing. However, if you need more subtle background music for your dinner or cocktail hour we can do that well, too. We perform classic jazz specializing, but not limited to, 1920's/1930's New Orleans style ragtime. Our style is often described as "speakeasy" or "prohibition era" music. We really get peoples' feet stomping in a roaring 20's kind of way, yet our powerful vocals can make one slow dance evoke emotion that will live forever in memory. Our musical performace transports listeners back to the early jazz age. The Jugtime Ragband is more than just music, it's an experience.

Absolutely incredible. They made a wonderful day unforgettable for everyone. Tray was amazing beforehand making sure we were happy with the set up and everyone who attended thought they were fabulous. Can't recommend more highly - I hope we remain good friends, I just love them!

I recommend the Jugtime Ragband to anyone who desires a truly entertaining and talented band for a party. All of my friends were impressed by the quality of the music and continually asked where I found them. There were always people dancing on the dance floor because it's absolutely irresistible not to! They were also punctual and professional, arriving early to set up the equipment and instruments. The Jugtime Rugband totally made my party an event no one will forget! I'm truly grateful for them.
