Doug Anthony - acoustic guitarist - jazz guitarist - Austin, Texas I'm available for any kind of party or celebration: Birthdays, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, holiday parties, engagement parties, celebration of life, etc. I have another profile on here for solo guitar but... I offer this option for people who would like background music with the energy of a full band but don't have the budget for one. I have pre-recorded jazz and bossa nova mp3s (backing tracks without the melody instrument) that I can play thru my sound system. I play the melodies and solos live on the guitar along with the tracks. I can control the volume at the turn of a knob

Doug and his band were fantastic and prefect for corporate events. I had several people at the event tell me they really enjoyed it and were potentially interested in hiring them as well.

We hired Doug Anthony for my daughters formal wedding at The Allan House in Austin. Doug played guitar for the procession (wedding march) and then joined his two other musicians on stage for the reception. They were so amazing. Their music added a huge amount of classy ambiance to the event. So many events have live bands so loud that you cannot enjoy the company you are with or even talk, but not so with Doug Anthony's music...just the PERFECT background sound. Also their music was wonderful dance music, we had such a wonderful evening and I would attribute it to them!!! Thank you Doug (and fellow musicians!)!!!
