Rebecca Angel and Jonah Prendergast are a contemporary jazz duo who have been playing together since 2014. Rebecca and Jonah met as jazz studies majors at the prestigious Ithaca College school of music. They have played a variety of events including festivals, weddings, farmers markets and coffee shops. Drawing from many influences, they are well-versed in the jazz genre but can also play adult contemporary, pop and rock upon request. They're laid-back groove and soothing sound are perfect for a variety of events. Rebecca Angel's debut EP "What We Had" featuring Jonah Prendergast has received rave reviews, and was considered for the Grammy in two categories. The title track "What We Had" written by Rebecca and Jonah charted at #5 on the FMQB Adult Contemporary Chart and made it to #3 on the Disk Union Weekly Jazz Chart in Tokyo, Japan.
