While Bok Choy Orchestra is primarily a jazz quartet, we often will break off into various duos, such as guitar and vibraphone, piano and vibraphone, bass and piano,flugelhorn and organ; and trios also of different configurations, including adding a vocalist- all based on the individual needs of the occasion. We perform regularly in the northeast for clubs, restaurants, weddings, private parties, and benefits. We play jazz standards, Latin, bop, blues, with a contemporary, original edge and style. We keep our radar up and "play to the room," determining what music and mood is best to keep our clients happy as the event progresses.
