Nuance Jazz was professional and their music was wonderful for our event! It was ambient enough to really fill the room but not overpower people's conversations.

This band was great! Irene who handles the management was a PLEASURE!! I adored her! We even had someone who is planning on getting married in July ask about hiring them for their wedding. These guys were the best. So glad I went with them.

We were very pleased with the performance of Nuance Jazz Ensemble! They completely delivered on the sound and fun vibe we wanted for our event and provided the right atmosphere to the overall celebration and fun. They are a talented and experienced group of musicians and did a great job. We would highly recommend them and also use them again. We appreciated their flexibility with our program schedule and were especially pleased that our guests joined in and danced with the music. Thank you!

They did an awesome job. Everyone liked them. My only comment would be to arrange a price for overtime before hand if the party goes on longer than anticipated. Other than that it was fantastic.

The guys were overall very pleasant and courteous. Irene, the bands coordinator, was very helpful with ensuring the night went smoothly and was very accommodating to our requests. The music was lively and up-beat and the was very talented. I would definitely use this band again in the future.

I hope that they could play more upbeat Christmas music for the concert. I also thought that there were too long of pause in between the music not the constant music one after the other. It seemed to me that they didn't go over the music in order for the concert ahead of time. Devon was late for the concert and that made us so nervous.

This gig was a pleasure.Nuance/Devon Bridgewater performed extremely well, received numerous guest compliments, read the crowd well, and sold CDs. Nuance performed for/were extremely helpful to 3 nonprofessional vocalists that were added 3 days before the event.We received their 5 songs (none of which were upbeat) 1 to 2 days before the event.Nuance sounded great! I prepped all 3 vocalists, yet 1 took a very long time to begin. I set up "Happy Birthday" for a 92 year old guest, and it was SWEET!Only 7 days before, the client changed the genre to Christmas;we had already booked great jazz sidemen. Started 2 minutes late/car trouble. We charged no extra. Enjoyed it!

I hired Nuance for my wedding. I hired a group of 4, including Devon, to play at the ceremony and to play jazz (including jazz with a latin influence). They were wonderful and far exceeded my expectations. Many people commented on how well they played (and my new husband's family includes many life-long musicians) and I never wanted the music to end. I highly recommend hiring them for your event.

Good communication in advance of event, arrived and set up early, followed "style" instructions for group, fun and entertaining, got great feedback from guests, took appropriate breaks. All in all a very enjoyable expereince.
