Thank you so much for providing me the opportunity to play at your wedding! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and with your wedding planner. In fact, he and I have continued to work together since then! Congratulations to you and your husband and please keep me in mind for the future. All the best! -ZachReview by Missy D.

While I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed, I'd like to clarify a few things. I arrived at the location more than an hour before the wedding. Instead of using the rain room, you chose to wait. After 3 failed attempts to set up (only to have myself and instrument soaked by the rain) and 2 hours of extra waiting time, I informed the groom that I could not wait indefinitely. While you cite this as unprofessional, I'd like to remind you that it is common practice to charge overtime, though I chose to stay for free. I had left myself sufficient time before my evening engagement but the continued delay was jeopardizing my punctuality; I opted to notify the groom.
