Bar MitzvahReviewed on June 24, 2014From Miami, FL

Zach and his musical partner provided an upbeat, skilled musical performance for a cocktail hour during our son's bar mitzvah. Everything was easy about working with Zach. He was responsive and reliable, and most of all, he was talented and entertaining for our guests.

Zach was extremely professional and working with him was effortless. He accomdated to all our music which he played beautifully and also gave us advice on certain songs if he didn't think would sound as good which we really appreiacted. He adapted to our outdoor beach wedding and worked really well with our Wedding Planner. He really set the scene at our Wedding and all the Guest commented on how great he sounded. I would definaltey hire Zach again without a doubt for any other event. A very talented, professional and outstanding gutiar player. Thank you Zach for making our Wedding complete.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on March 19, 2014From Miami, FL

Zach was absolutely perfect. My husband and I hired Zach to perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He arrived with plenty of time to set up his own equipment and help us set up our PA equipment. Zach was extremely professional throughout the entire process, from the booking to his attire the day of. He accommodated our song requests and everything else he played was simply lovely. We had nothing but compliments on the enchanting ambiance Zach created. I can't wait to plan another party so I can hire him again. I will definitely be recommending him. Zach is an amazing musician and we wish him nothing but the best.

I honestly could not have had a better performance for my wedding. I am beyond pleased with Zach and his quartet. I would hire them again in a heart beat for any other event I plan. Again, I cannot express how much I HIGHLY recommend Zach. A+++++

WeddingReviewed on January 6, 2014From Miami, FL

Zach did a really nice job of playing music for our ceremony. He was able to play and sing a requested song for my walk down the aisle. It really made our ceremony even more special and memorable to us. We requested a song for the recessional which he was able to play without a problem. I would recommend Zach for a ceremony musician again as his classical guitarist style was perfect for someone looking for something different than the typical tropical music that is played at most Florida weddings.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 20, 2013From Miami, FL

Zach was amazing!!! 5 stars throughout- if anyone tells you anything less- I'd be surprised- I would recommend him 100% He was professional, punctual, and after two discussions about my needs for the ceremony...did not need ANY direction throughout. I listened to see if he would chime in at certain times as I requested- and without hesitation, he was right on time as discussed. He played all my important songs, and my guests reported that he obviously LOVES what he does- he smiled right through it all, and the music sounded great!! In addition, we started late- and Zach didn't leave me hanging- he stayed and played until the end. Thank you Zach!!! You rock!!!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on March 3, 2013From Miami, FL

Very professional and was able to accommodate short notice booking. I highly recommend Zach for all occassions and even mashups like sophisticated BBQs on the bay. He brings personality through the musical selections and keeps the ambiance engaged. We were able to play with Zach's duo during the birthday celebration with me and my dad playing congas. Excellent time.

I have, and will continue to be impressed by the stellar talent Zach Larmer possesses. He was flexible when the rain caused relocation of events, and jumped in to help when it was time to flip the space. There aren't enough words to express my appreciation! I will continue to suggest his services to current and future clients. See you soon Zach!!

Unlike the review above, my experience with Zach was fabulous. Seems like to me, with the timing issues and all, the wedding planner seems like he/she dropped the ball. Zach played our music perfectly, and even went as far to highlight my favorite parts of the songs if the time constraints of each section of the wedding didn't permit him to play the whole song so we didn't stand around at the alter looking silly. He and my wedding planner stayed in constant contact, and after the wedding, EVERYONE commented on how well he played and matched the sound of the original songs but kept it unique. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a guitarist who cares!:)

Thank you so much for providing me the opportunity to play at your wedding! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and with your wedding planner. In fact, he and I have continued to work together since then! Congratulations to you and your husband and please keep me in mind for the future. All the best! -Zach

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on August 21, 2012From Marco Island, FL

Mr. Larmer lacked the confidence and experience to adapt to the fluid situation of a rain delay at our outdoor event. He complained to the groom about delay in the ceremony, overbooked his personal schedule, and needed reminders and prompting to play. It was my expectation that he/she would show up with a “leave it to me!” type of assertiveness. The purpose of having a guitarist at the ceremony was to have music played to assist in setting the tone for the event. Unfortunately that did not unfold as expected. To Mr. Larmer’s credit he is very polite, maintained good communication during the planning of the event, and when he played it was exquisite!

While I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed, I'd like to clarify a few things. I arrived at the location more than an hour before the wedding. Instead of using the rain room, you chose to wait. After 3 failed attempts to set up (only to have myself and instrument soaked by the rain) and 2 hours of extra waiting time, I informed the groom that I could not wait indefinitely. While you cite this as unprofessional, I'd like to remind you that it is common practice to charge overtime, though I chose to stay for free. I had left myself sufficient time before my evening engagement but the continued delay was jeopardizing my punctuality; I opted to notify the groom.
