Karen was very accommodating and took great care to put together an appropriate play list for our event and the group executed it perfectly. I would recommend the Lovejoy group without hesitation.

Karen and her band were amazing. They played some great tunes which the audience loved and Karen was very accommodating even though our booking was last minute.

We really enjoyed having the Lovejoy Group at our special evening event! Our visual arts center is not an easy venue for musicians, for both access and resonance reasons, so we appreciated the patience of band members as we had to bring gear in through a complicated loading dock, as well as the time taken by Karen to assess the sound level and quality around the space. Great song choices and party guests were thrilled with the Lovejoy Group!

The Lovejoy Group lived up to my expectations. They were businesslike and delivered on time. Our party of 50 at my wife's 60th birthday party had a ball and danced throughout the evening. Karen Lovejoy was delightful to work with and the party was a huge success. This is a jazz combo but they were accommodative and did Motown, Blues and old standards as well. Wonderful performance.

Karen was great about communicating with me prior to the event. The performers were talented and professional. However, I feel that they were not properly informed about the event or my special requests. First, they thought that the event was for a retirement community. Second, I had requested that, for my short event, the performers only take short breaks and/or provide recorded music during any breaks. They took one 30 minute break and a 15 minute break and no recorded music was provided for those times. So, overall for my 3 hour event, 45 minutes had no music.

Karen was wonderful in accommodating in meeting all our requirements. Even when our church had us changing the pieces the week before the wedding. Her voice is outstanding, and she and her band are personally invested in making your event amazing. Love them.

The group was on time, very professional in appearance, very courteous and accommodating to the changing requirements of the wedding reception and had both an excellent repertoire and very high level of musicianship to make for a wonderfully enjoyable event.
I'd gladly book them for other occasions and eagerly recommend them to others who want an excellent vocal and instrumental performance from reliable pros.

The Lovejoy Group was fantastic. Everyone loved their performance, and they were incredibly accommodating. Karen was great about staying in touch and answering any questions, and I am so glad that we decided to hire them. The music was perfect for the evening, and they played until the very end. They played a variety of pieces that were ideal both for socializing and for dancing, and we received nothing but compliments about them throughout the night. I would highly recommend The Lovejoy Group to anyone looking to hire a professional jazz band.

These guys were great! Fabulous musicians, and they created the perfect atmosphere for our event. They talked with us beforehand about exactly what we wanted and were very flexible, accommodating, and TALENTED!
