Julia Simpson is a professional actress and singer who brings class and style to any event. A dynamic and versatile singer, Julia's repertoire includes Jazz, Standards, The Blues and Broadway. She has performed throughout the nation on tour and at Regional, Dinner and Stock Theatres in productions of "Death Of A Salesman", "Ain't Misbehavin'", "Dreamgirls", "For Colored Girls . . .", "One Mo' Time", "Purlie", and "Tintypes". She has appeared Off-Broadway at New World Stages and other venues in New York City including The Triad and Danny's Skylight Room. One of her favorite experiences was originating the role of Hennie in the World Premiere of "When The Nightingale Sings" at The Clarence Brown Theatre in Knoxville, TN. Julia earned her BFA degree in Musical Theatre at Syracuse University. She is a member of Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and The American Federation of Radio and Television Artist. Julia created Breanetta Productions to inspire, educate and entertain audiences of all ages and walks of life. She is currently booking her one-woman show "Harlem On My Mind."
