She earned a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from McGILL UNIVERSITY in Montreal and briefly lived in a Gypsy Caravan at the Festival of Django Reinhardt at Samois Sur Seine, France. Mary won a fellowship to participate in the prestigious Artist in Residence Program at STRATHMORE in the Washington, DC-metropolitan area, has composed film scores for NITEHAWK CINEMA (NYC), and has won multiple vocal and songwriting awards with the Washington Area Music Association.
