Hit Waves Unplugged performs the hits from 1920 to 2017 in an acoustic ("unplugged") version. The band performs hits from Frank Sinatra/Ella Fitzgerald to hits from Michael Jackson/The Beatles/Police/Eric Clapton/Cindy Lauper and so many others. Interpreting today's hits in classic styles, Hit Waves Unplugged takes you on a genre-bending trip across continents and decades. Bruno Mars in 1930's New York? David Bowie in '40s Havana? Hit Waves Unplugged is a one of a kind acoustic combo in Northern California: it started as a duo, acoustic guitar and upright bass. We then added a male vocalist, a female vocalist, reeds (sax, clarinet, flute) and drums/percussions. My name is LAURENT FOURGO. I am a professional vocalist, band leader and live performer. In the past 8 years, I've performed OVER 500 weddings, private and corporate events around the Bay Area. Performing at so many functions gave me and the rest of the band the opportunity to add over 300 songs to our repertoire and also the experience to make each party a success! I pride myself on being responsive, flexible, pro-active and making sure that things are getting done. Finding the right music can be stressful and overwhelming (that's only a piece of your event!), so I want to make sure to help you the best I can! We have professional sound equipment for a wide variety of events - from a battery-powered amp (used on venue with no power source) to a set of PA speakers. We also have wireless (hand held and Lavalier) microphones available for rental.
